***FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED*** Mady
Maddy is a spayed 7.5-year-old boxer/pit bull mix (est. DOB 12/29/09) rescued from the PACC euthanasia list. She is a sweet, friendly dog who just wants a forever home! Maddie has been affectionately renamed Maddie Moo by her foster family as she is the bull in the China shop; they adore her lovable smoosh face. Despite her size she wants nothing more than to be in your lap during cuddle time. Maddie loves to snuggle in bed as well, but during walks or play she goes at top speed! Maddie also likes to listen to any conversation without judgment. She is completely housebroken and knows basic commands. Maddie is very food motivated so could be further trained easily. She definitely should not be in a home with smaller animals (she has gotten into scuffles with her smaller foster sibling so she has to be kept separate) but loves to play with all humans, including kids. She can be a bit selective with dogs her size but with proper introductions, she will make a perfect addition to the right family! How can you resist that smile?
Hallie is a beautiful 4-year-old pit bull mix (est. DOB 7/24/13) who was rescued from PACC. She is extremely affectionate and loves chewing on bones or a peanut butter-filled Kong. She can be a little protective of her family members and as a result has some trouble getting along with other dogs. Due to changes in foster circumstances, Hallie has been in boarding for quite a while now and really needs to be in a loving home. She is a friendly, easygoing and laid back pooch who is unfazed by loud noises or a busy household. After shelter life, Hallie wants nothing more than to find her forever home. Could it be with you?
Bella (the orig)
Bella is a 4-year-old boxer-pit mix who was rescued from our local shelter. As her name explains, she is absolutely beautiful! She loves tennis balls, long walks, hiking, and is an excellent running partner. At training she is all about sniffing around, but is still able to pick up the lesson. She knows how to sit, lay down, play fetch, give kisses, and is great on the leash. On nice days she likes nothing more than being outside or going for car rides. She is great with kids and other dogs her size, but would rather ignore smaller pups. Bella is in her second foster home because her first foster found she did not have the time to manage Bella’s severe allergies. She also has valley fever so she is on a special diet and medication. While she does need some extra care for these issues, she is absolutely worth it. Words honestly cannot describe how great of a girl Bella is, and any home would be made so much better with her in it! She is one of the sweetest gals you will ever meet.
Luna’s availability is pending additional training. If you would like to meet her, please contact us.
Luna is a 2.5-year-old spayed lab/pitbull mix (approx. 35lbs, est. DOB 12/10/14) who was surrendered to PACC. Bridge pulled her from the euthanasia list and she graduated from a board and train program at sol.DOG before settling into her first foster home. She was there for more than several months when she started to show signs of resource guarding with the resident pup. After time in boarding, a second foster stepped up but found she did not have the time Luna needed in order to progress. As Luna has shown some selectivity issues, she is back in board and train and really needs a strong/experienced handler who will be dedicated to her success. She needs structure, consistent guidance and rules to follow otherwise she gets overwhelmed by too much freedom. This pretty lil gal might be a challenge but we know there is a lid for every pot! Will you fit Luna’s?
